Antibiotics in Animals – Will the FDA wake up?


For decades farmers have added antibiotics to the feed of healthy animals so they grow faster, not for treatment of diseases, but for financial reasons. This has been banned in Europe since 2005, however here in the US, the meat industry has been successful in avoiding the passage of such legislation.
